About Marcia Rappaport

Marcia Rappaport, MS, RD, CDN, has many years experience as a registered dietitian and holds a Master’s degree in nutrition education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her expertise in weight loss and maintenance has helped clients achieve their weight and health goals. She provides clients with the tools they need to accomplish optimal health through nutrition education, creative fitness and emotional balance.

Our lives are so full - we’re so busy with work, children and hectic schedules. It’s difficult to take time to prioritize nutrition and health. Marcia assists her clients in finding strategies to make healthy eating not only doable but enjoyable.

Marcia works with women who are contemplating pregnancy, are pregnant or in between pregnancies - to successfully make changes in their eating and exercise choices. Her gentle, anti-diet approach ensures success to those who want to change their relationship with food to feel their best.

Ms. Rappaport is also a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and has been featured in the Film Documentary, Latching On - The politics of Breastfeeding in America. She has been an invited guest speaker at universities, child care councils and is an adjunct faculty member at Westchester Community College.
